We took a former industrial/ commercial site at the edge of the village of New Paltz, NY, and created a pedestrian village of antiques, crafts and cafes.

We like a good challenge.
Although this may seem
like an incredible extravagance, what could have
been a dedicated room
with a full-length lap pool
was reduced to a fraction
of this space by substituting
a motorized lap pool.
This size reduction greatly
reduced the energy requirements of the space while
the motorized cover/floor
enabled the room to serve
multiple functions.
